English: The Riadha mosque is one of the long-standing building structures on Lamu island. It was established in 1901 and has been a focal point for Muslim activities ever since, including scholarly work, madrassa, important festivities such as Eid-ul-Fitr. It has also seen a rise of prominent scholars, the most famous of this era being the late Habib Swaleh.
Currently, the space remains a beacon for Friday prayers where faithful pay adherence to the holy day.
Kiswahili: Msikiti wa Riadha ni mojawapo ya majengo ya muda mrefu katika kisiwa cha Lamu. Ilianzishwa mwaka wa 1901 na imekuwa kitovu cha shughuli za Waislamu tangu wakati huo, ikiwa ni pamoja na kazi za kitaaluma, madrassa, sherehe muhimu kama vile Eid-ul-Fitr. Vile vile imeonekana kuongezeka wanazuoni mashuhuri, mashuhuri zaidi wa zama hizi akiwa ni marehemu Habib Swaleh.
