Summary edit

Description
English: Fulbourn almshouses. In 1864, eight two-roomed brick almshouses were built in Church Lane, Fulbourn. Under rules created in 1905, confirmed in 1960, places were reserved for poor people, old or sick and of good character, who had dwelt in Fulbourn for at least two years. This photo shows the western end of the almshouses. See 1259183 for eastern end of the row.
