Description
English: This NRHP historic wooden covered bridge is just one of many of Vermont's 19th century style with attached regionally unique symbolism. According to the NRHP Application, architects Jewitt, Sheldon & Savannah built this cross-hatch sided bridge in the Significant Period 1875-99, and it represents the Significant Year 1890. While the Wikipedia page has a very similar photograph, note that this angle exemplifies the structure's internal wall pattern, which is the particular element that J.S.&S. used in all their covered bridges. Moreover, drivers cover Vermont's roads in fall, specifically to witness the changing foliage.
