Description
English: Furness Railway "Bury" 0-4-0 No.3 Coppernob built in 1846 at the Bury, Curtis & Kennedy Works, Liverpool. The Bury type engines with bar frames were designed by Edward Bury and were immensely successful in the early days of railways but were eventually overtaken by larger, more advanced types. It was finally withdrawn from use in 1900 and can be now seen on display in the Great Hall at the National Railway Museum, York.
