English: A bridge across Yema He (Wildhorse River), on China National Highway 209 between Wenshui village and Hongping town, Shennongjia Forestry District. Probably built ca. 1970 (this date appears on other similar bridges nearby), it carries the inscriptions 伟大的中国共产党万岁！ (Long live the great Communist Party of China!) and 伟大的领袖毛主席万岁！ (Long live the great leader Chairman Mao!) Both slogans on the opposite sides of the bridge are arranged from south to north, making the former one run from right to left and the latter, from left to right, . |
