日本語: まず初期にドル高からドル安に向かう価格の大変動が起き、その後、市場に参加していたトレーダーにより売買が活発に行われ価格が激しく振動した後、振動が次第に収束していく様子が描かれている。この値動きは、価格操作を目的とした大量の買い注文が行われた結果である可能性が高い。この急峻な値動きがポンドが殺人通貨とも呼ばれる理由を物語っている。メジャーな通貨ペアであるドル円の相場では政府銀行の介入直後以外ではこのような値動きは発生しない。
