Description
Nederlands: Het Hebberechtsgodshuis dient nog steeds als opvangtehuis. In de kapel zijn nog de relicten van de Mariadevotie te zien. Schreiboom: de benaming bestond al in de 14e eeuw en duidde een plaats aan buiten de Petercellepoort, ter hoogte van het huidige Parkplein. Om het zielenheil van de terechtgestelden te vrijwaren en als troost voor de verwanten had men een Mariabeeld aan de boom op de driesprong bevestigd. Ten laatste vanaf de 17e eeuw stond hier een kapel.
