| Description | While the main Toronto Union station is behind me at the other side of the tower observation deck, on this side we can see the suburban GO Transit train depot. All GO Transit train are of the push-pull variety where the engine pulls the train in one direction and pushes from the rear on the return leg. The train is wired throughout and a driving cab with driving controls is fitted on the last car so that all the engine's functions can be operated from the cab in the last car. Notes about GO Transit trains appear in my Niagara Falls album. All cars are double decker with tapered ends. (photos in my Niagara Falls album). As you can see, the locomotive is by default coupled at the Toronto Union end. (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015) |
