English: GK Nath is an Indian poet, documentary filmmaker, singer, composer, lyricist, actor, model, performer, translator and social activist. As he is a poet, he is involved in magazine editing as well as writing poetry. He first started editing "Jalfaring" magazine and now joins as co-editor of "Boitan" magazine. Although occasionally associated with editing several web and print magazines. He has two bands of his own. The first is a poetry band (Apostle) and the second is a rock band (Black Hole). His first documentary film "Hemanteer Chuti" was screened at IC3 and won the award for Best Debut Director (jointly with Deep Kumar Halder). Besides, he was recently honored as the best poet in the Prathom Kanna.com event organized by Abhijeet at ICCR. He has served as a senior advisor to several bands. Apart from painting and writing audio plays, he has been acting in various short films, making special documentaries and hosting various events.
