Summary
editDescriptionGadiya temple ruins, Bastar Chhattisgarh 049.jpg |
English: The stone temple of Gadiya is a ruin to the south of Narayanpal in Bastar district and about 35 kilometers west of Jagdalpur.
It is a Nagara-style temple with many art panels randomly scattered around. In front are the foundation of a mandapa along with stone slabs that once formed the floor. The ruins are spread over considerable area. The sanctum is empty and small when compared the plain shikhara which is impressively high. |
