DescriptionGale Crater.tif	English: This view of Gale crater is a mosaic of observations made in the visible-light portion of the spectrum by the Thermal Emission Imaging System camera on NASA's Mars Odyssey orbiter. Gale crater is 96 miles (154 kilometers) in diameter and holds a layered mountain Aeolis Mons rising about 3 miles (5 kilometers) above the crater floor. Polski: Obraz marsjańskiego krateru Gale stworzony z mozaiki obserwacji wykonanych w świetle widzialnym przez kamerę sondy 2001 Mars Odyssey. Krater Gale ma średnicę 154 km. We wnętrzu krateru znajduje się góra Aeolis Mons o wysokości 5,5 km.
