English: The antique torso of a statue of the shepherd god Pan from the 2nd half of the 2nd century. based on works from the 2nd half of the 2nd century v. BC was probably added to a bound Marsyas in modern times, possibly by Lambert Sigisbert Adam (1700-1761), The statue was acquired by King Frederick II, Small Gallery, Sanssouci Palace, Potsdam, Marble
Deutsch: Der antike Torso einer Statue des Hirtengottes Pan aus der 2. Hälfte des 2. Jhs. in Anlehnung an Werke der 2. Hälfte des 2. Jhs. v. Chr. wurde vermutlich neuzeitlich, möglicherweise durch Lambert Sigisbert Adam (1700-1761), zu einem gefesselten Marsyas ergänzt, Schloss Sanssouci, Kleine Galerie, Potsdam.
