| Description |
Taken with a newly acquired Nikon 200-500mm. Visiting Cape St. Mary's was a special treat. I hadn't planned on it but Porter Airlines cancelled my flight and rebooked me on another 3 days later. I wasn't sure to be pissed or elated. Well having another 3 days to see more of Newfoundland was indeed a blessing. Cape St. Mary's is like visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the fog that rolled in and out added to it's magic. The bird island is just swarming with gannet's (and other bird species) and it's an incredible sight to behold. |
