Summary

Description
English: Gannets by St Baldred's Chapel The gannets (Morus bassanus) are returning to the rock after wintering off Africa. They return to their usual nesting sites, but there were a few territorial stuggles going on. Once the island is full, there will hardly be any bare rock to be seen. Since the 1980's the gannets have defoliated most of the island.
