Description
Built in the 1860s by Gardner Kellogg at the southeast corner of 4th Ave. and Columbia St. The house was moved to 6th Ave. and Columbia St. where it remained for twenty years before it was demolished. Kellogg appears on the left at the corner of the picket fence. He joined Seattle's volunteer fire department in 1870 and became chief of the official city department after the 1889 fire.
