Description
English: Gasholders Sometimes we tend to forget how important coal gas and gasworks used to be to the British economy, until the changeover to North Sea Gas (methane) in the 1970s. Here and there a few gasholders still remain, although now themselves used for 'natural' gas. Seen on the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union canal.
