Deutsch: Bereits 1802 entwickelte Zachäus Andreas Winzler eine sogenannte „Thermolampe“. In Deutschland setzten sich Gasöfen wie auch Gasherde zuerst im städtischen Umfeld ab 1890 durch. Entscheidend war dabei der Ausbau von Gasnetzen und die damit verbunden Verfügbarkeit von Stadt- oder Erdgas in den dazu erforderlichen Mengen. Unser Gasherd verrät uns leider nicht seinen Hersteller und dürfte so etwa um die Jahrhundertwende zum 20. Jahrhundert gefertigt worden sein. |
