English: Gated footbridge on Footpath 1921 The gates at either end of this bridge have presumably been installed to prevent livestock from gaining access to the bridge or the river banks. I don't think that they were installed by West Sussex County Council as one of them is held in place by an old window stay! Also, wooden ramps have been added which I suspect are to allow the passage of horses. |
