English: Gates protecting bore hole pumping station Theft is major rural issue. Speak to any farmer and they will tell you tales of stolen agricultural equipment and fuel oil siphoned out of vehicles' tanks.
Inside these gates is a bore hole and the half demolished shed which used to contain a diesel generator that powered the electric pump. Presumably a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, these gates have now been installed and a double ditch dug around the field side of the station. |
