Description
Deutsch: Trigonometrischer Vermessungpunkt auf dem Gieseberg bei Deiderode, Gemeidne Friedland, Südniedersachsen. Vermessungsstein (Gaußstein) der Landesvermessung durch Carl Friedrich Gauß, um 1830. Der Pfeiler trägt auf einer Seite die eingemeißelte Inschrift „Hannov“, auf der gegenüberliegenden „Vermessg.“ und „1836“ (?, letzte Ziffer schlecht lesbar). Die obere Abdeckplatte ist neuer und wurde mit Mörtel aufgesetzt, es handelt sich um ein Teilstück eines Grabsteins mit eingemeißelten (Todes-)Jahreszahlen 1961 und 1971
