| Description |
English: Memorial plate of the Israelitic Synagogue Community Adass Jisroel, erected in 1998, ccorten steel. The writing perforates the metal. The tablet is placed in front of Siegmunds Hof 11, 10555 Berlin-Hansaviertel, in front of the place where the community center of Adass Jisroel had been located. The center was destroyed by bombings in 1943. The tablet was erected in 1998, alongside a sculpture by Georg Seibert, erected in 1986, also remembering the community.
Deutsch: Gedenktafel der Israelitischen Synagogen-Gemeinde Adass Jisroel, aufgestellt 1998, Material: Cortenstahl. Die Schrift perforiert das Metall. Die Tafel steht vor Siegmunds Hof 11, 10555 Berlin-Hansaviertel, vor der Stelle, an der sich seit 1924 das Gemeindezentrum der Gemeinde befand. Das Gebäude wurde 1943 durch Bombardierung zerstört. Die Gedenktafel steht neben einer 1986 errichteten Skulptur von Georg Seibert, die ebenfalls an die Gemeinde erinnert. |
