Summary
editDescriptionGedloch Quarry - geograph.org.uk - 399842.jpg |
English: Gedloch Quarry The floor of the quarry looks devoid of anything but some rusty metal, so it seems that it is no longer active, though I am sure that I have seen machinery moving around in it from a glider overhead (the bare rock faces often kick off quite good thermals). However this shot was not taken from the air, but from the spoil heaps at the top of the quarry. |
