Deutsch: Etwa 2,4 km östlich des Wallfahrtsorts Haindling in der Gemeinde Geiselhöring befindet sich die kleine Ortschaft Gaishauben mit gerade mal 5 Hausnummern. Bei einer Weggabelung am Radweg südwestlich vom Dorf findet man einen Säulenbildstock neben einer Baumgruppe.
Am rechteckigen, bossierten Grundfundament aus Granit steht ein Fussblock, der vom Schaft weg dachartig abgeschrägt ist. Dem folgt ein viereckiger Schaft, der im Mittelteil abgefaste Ecken aufweist. Weiter oben geht die Säule auf einen kreuzförmigen Tabernakel über, der an der Frontseite einige Zentimeter vorkragt. Der Aufsatz ist als gedrungenes, quadratisches Kreuz geformt. Dort ist eine ebenfalls kreuzförmige Platte mit einem vorstehenden Relief eines nimbierten Christuskopfs mit Dornenkrone eingelassen. Darunter steht in Großbuchstaben ECCE HOMO, einem im Johannesevangelium überlieferten Ausspruch von Pontius Pilatus, was bedeutet: "Sehet den Menschen". |
