Description
English: A replica of the Kudara Kanon (literally Paekche Avolikitesvara) (the original in the Hōryūji temple, Nara) at the British Museum. Asuka period (ca. 552-ca. 650). Made of carved and painted wood, gesso, also bronze; H : 3,1 m. The original may possibly be from Korea or carved by immigrant Korean artisans.
