Summary
editDescriptionGeneral Fubo, Guilin (20354614576).jpg | Fubo Hill, a solitary peak, stands in the northwest Guilin and on the west bank of Li River. Fubo Hill Park is a combination of hill, rivers, caves , rocks, pavilions which form the epitome of Guilin mountains and rivers. As for the name-Fubo, a historical allusion must be mentioned. In 41AD of Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Guanwu sent General Fubo - Ma Yuan to conquer Jiaozhi (the ancient name of Vietnam). After fierce battles, General Fubo finally succeeded, so people built memorial temple in honor of Ma Yuan. It was said that Fubo General once tested his sword to cut the stone off. Actually, there is no historical document which record General Fubo had been to Fubo Hill, so it is just a legend. - See more at: www.chinatour.com/guilin/guilin-attractions/fubo-hill.htm... |
