Description
English: Retired ambulance A 17 of Gentofte Fire Brigade., with "AMBULANCE" in mirror writing ("ECNALUBMA").
The vehicle is a Mercedes-Benz 300D (type 123) built at Nørrebros Body Work Factory. It was put into service in 1986 and was in 1996 replaced, when larger ambulances became more common. As far known this is the only ambulance of this type, which has been kept complete with emergency signals in Denmark. Ambulances of this type are usually either sold for other more peacefully purposes or scrapped.
Today it is owned by the Fire Brigade's museum association.
Dansk: Udgået ambulance A 17 fra Gentofte Brandæsen.
