English: Up local coal train at Wrexham General station. View northward, towards Chester; ex-GW Birmingham etc. - Shrewsbury - Chester main line. On the left is the ex-GC/LNE line at Wrexham Exchange (off picture) on the line from Seacombe, Bidston and Chester (Northgate) to Wrexham Central. The Class K coal train is probably running from Gresford Colliery to Croes Newydd Yard. The locomotive is Churchward 43XX 2-6-0 No. 6316 (built 1/21, withdrawn 7/62). |
