Description
Deutsch: Die Aufnahme entstand an dem Geologischen Monument Terziet, benannt nach einer kleinen Siedlung im Tal des Flüßchens Göhl direkt an der Grenze zwischen den Niederlanden und Belgien.


Eine Informationstafel spricht von eine Alter von 330 Millionen Jahren. Die Sedimente stammen aus der erdgeschichtlichen Zeit des Namur. Diese Zeit endete als in Mitteleuropa die großen Steinkohlensümpfe entstanden, aus denen später die Lagerstätten der Steinkohle entstanden.[1]
