Description
English: Geology, History, Archaeology and Agriculture In the foreground is a shake hole caused by the gravelly surface layer of Bagshot beds collapsing into a dissolution hole in the chalk underneath. In the distance is the monument to Thomas Hardy who might have kissed Nelson at Trafalgar in 1805. In between are a neolithic barrow and a modern fodder holder for feeding the sheep.
