Description
English: King George V is pictured in the uniform of a en:Marshal of the Royal Air Force at Mildenhall. This image is a crop from a picture depicting the future King Edward VIII (as Prince of Wales), King George V and the future King George VI (as Prince Albert). The uncropped photograph was scanned from Finn, C. J. et al (2004). Air Publication 3003. HMSO. The entire publication, including its photographs, was issued under Crown Copyright. Although copyright for the publication is dated at 2004, the Crown Copyright on the photographs starts from the date when they were taken. King George died in 1936 and so this photograph is more than 50 years old, placing it in the public domain.
