Description Situation before 1705 fire, from a document describing a 1688 event in the monastery. Original was lost during an allied forces bombing in 1944.
1= Säbener Stock;
2= Aiblinger Stock;
3= Unnamed building, very probably containing workshops, and storage area;
4=Schlitterer Stock, with abbot's resort;
5= Freundsberger Stock
(the noble families of Säbener, Aiblinger, Schlitterer and Freundsberger were major donators to the abbey). Objects 3-5 were not reconstructed after the 1705 fire.
