English: A German army Leopard 2 tank, accompanied by another Leopard 2 and a U.S. Army Stryker Mobile Gun System vehicle, fires its 120 mm main gun at Grafenwoehr Training Area during Operation Iron Panzer Dec. 8, 2011, in Grafenwoehr, Germany. Iron Panzer was a partnered exercise between the U.S. Army's 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment and the German Army's 4th Company, 104th Panzer Battalion in the first combined live-fire exercise that incorporated both the German Leopard 2 tank and the U.S. Stryker Mobile Gun System. |
