English: German Navy Chief Petty Officer Patrick Kohn, assigned to Seebatallion Mine Clearance Diving Unit (SeeBtl. MiTaKp), located in Eckernförde, Schleswig Holstein, Germany, activates an X-ray unit on a bomb detection kit during an exercise for Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022 in Southern California (USA), 27 July 2022. SeeBtl. MiTaKp is located in Eckernförde, Schleswig Holstein, Germany. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, three submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel were participating in RIMPAC from 29 June to 4 August 2022 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California (USA).
