The factual accuracy of this map or the file name is disputed.
Reason: Weird anachronistic, non-scientific map: Conflates the boundaries of "modern extent of german-speaking countries in Central Europe" with "modern extent of Dutch language", but then states that only England (without Cornwall, Wales and Scotland, not even the English-settled N-Ireland) is also of the "Germanic culture". Certainly original research by uploader.
This is a map of the modern Germanic peoples of Europe. It highlights the modern Germanic cultural area in blue, other cultures in grey and the names of the individual Germanic peoples of today.
