English: Painting, probably by the German painter Franz Wulfhagen (1624–1670), located in the museum of Schloss Schönebeck, Bremen, Germany. The picture shows a small whale stranded on the banks of the river Weser in 1670 at Lemwerder. The background shows the oldest known picture of Vegesack and its port. Deutsch: Ölgemälde, vermutlich von Franz Wulfhagen (1624–1670), befindlich im Museum des Schlosses Schönebeck in Bremen. Das Bild zeigt einen kleinen Wal, der 1670 am Ufer der Weser bei Lemwerder strandete. Im Hintergrund ist die älteste erhaltene Darstellung von Vegesack und seinem Hafen zu sehen. |
