Description
English: Ginevra Cantofoli (attributed; after Guido Reni), Head of a woman wearing a turban, looking down to right, red chalk, by 1672, The British Museum (museum number SL,5236.152). A copy after the woman in the left foreground of Reni's fresco of "Saint Andrew being led to Martyrdom" (1609) in the church of San Gregorio Magno, Rome. In 2004 Babette Bohn suggested an attribution to Ginevra Cantofoli (1618-72).
