Description
Nederlands: Girona station. Een lokale trein richting Barcelona. De normaalspoor rail van het gemengd spoor wordt weinig of niet gebruikt.
Deutsch: Bahnhof Gerona, modernisierter Triebzug 9 447 349 mit zwischen den Drehgestellen niederflurigem Mittelwagen Richtung Barcelona.
Das Dreischienengleis im Vordergrund wurde zwischen Gerona Gbf und Figueras-Vilafant verlegt, weil sich die Fertigstellung der Schnellfahrstrecke zwischen diesen Bahnhöfen mit dem Tunnel in Gerona stark verzögerte. Das Randgleis links außerhalb des Bildausschnittes wurde als Kreuzungsmöglichkeit vollständig auf Regelspur umgestellt. Genutzt wurde die Verbindung vor allem durch Güterzüge. Seit der vollständigen Inbetriebnahme der Schnellfahrstrecke wird das Dreischienengleis kaum noch genutzt, doch ist es im Sommer 2017 noch betriebsfähig.
