English: Glass bottle recovered from visitor by LE Ranger Christopher Schreck on Blacksnake Road in early March 2017. Visitor was "bottle hunting" in the known historic bottle dumps along the roadway. Medium dark amber Duraglas "packer" style half-gallon machine-made glass bottle, with Owens-Illinois Glass Company symbol on base. Also on base: mold cavity code = 11; date code = 5; factory of manufacture code = 7 (Alton, IL). Embossed 3cm lettering on shoulder "PUREX" (on opposite sides). Single ring handle on neck. Screw-cap finish. Washed upon receipt, but some dirt and residue remain on interior.
