English: Glazed ceramic earthenware tomb model (mingqi) of a granary Han Dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE) Shaanxi Province China. Raised above the ground to protect the stored grains from damp and animals this tomb model, may have been filled with grain for use in the afterlife. A type of low-fired lead glaze made with copper developed in the Han Dynasty (206 BCE−220 CE) gives it its green color.
