English: Glendon Junction Where the former London Midland Railway diverges, with the further line heading for Corby, and the nearer line heading for Leicester. Near top left is an outcrop of ironstone. The ironstone was discovered during the building of the railway, and led to the opening of many quarries in the area, now all closed down. |
