Summary edit

Description
English: Glentarken Wood from the shore of Loch Earn, St Fillans The entrance to St Fillans power station can be seen behind the tree on the right. The outflow from the power station runs below the main road. Villas line the track up the hillside which eventually reaches moorland above the village. Pylons carry power transmissions to the surrounding community. Unlike many in Scotland, Glentarken Wood contains a variety of trees and plants which makes the stiff walk up the track especially enjoyable. Beyond the treeline, one can get splendid views down the length of Loch Earn.
