English: Gloucester viewed from Sandhurst Hill View to the south down the Vale of Gloucester, the horizon is lined by the escarp of the Cotswold Hills, the city of Gloucester fills the vale in the middle distance with the cathedral tower clearly visible on the skyline. Many centuries after the cathedral was built its tower is still the city's most prominent feature. To the right at the foot of the hill beyond the ripening barley field is the farm of Willington Court. |
