English: Going Under the A267 The bridge was originally constructed in 1880 to carry the Cuckoo Line over Rotherfield Lane and remained in situ when the line was shut in 1965. During the 1980s a new by-pass was built for Mayfield following the course of the railway and subsequently reusing this bridge which appears to have been extended remaining faithful to the original. |
