Description

NPS/Patrick Myers

It was a gorgeous weekend at Great Sand Dunes, with calm conditions and temperatures in the upper 60s. With the ongoing rain and snow this fall, a little flow has returned to Medano Creek. Weather can change very quickly in the Rocky Mountains - blizzard conditions are forecast for later today! Two to four inches of snow are possible.
