English: Golden Tree, or What's it Worth? The WWT London Wetland Centre is hosting, until April 2010, the Love London Recycled Sculpture Show. Talented artists have transformed every day waste into innovative and inspiring sculptures. This one is made, by Ron den Daas, from painted plastic bottles and tin cans, and is an allusion to King Midas, who lost all with his obsession with gold, a parallel to current consumerism that is overburdening the natural environment |
