Description
Srpski (latinica): Rasprostranjen je u celoj Evropi, zapadnoj Aziji, delovima severne Afrike, Male Azije, Bliskog Istoka i centralne Azije. Uglavnom je selica, osim u južnoj i zapadnoj Evropi. Staništa su mu različite šume, od ravnica do planinskih predela, mozaični predeli, voćnjaci, parkovi, drvoredi i vrtovi. Gnezda od grančica gradi na drveću i visokim žbunovima. Hrani se plodovima, bobicama, semenjem, pupoljcima i drugom hranom biljnog porekla. Populacija u Evropi blago raste, zahvaljujući osvajanju novih staništa (ljudska naselja). U Srbiji se gnezdi 75.000–106.000 parova, a brojnost je u umerenom porastu (Puzović et al 2015).
