Description
English: Taken from the VIIRS instrument onboard the NOAA-20 satellite, this true-color image of the Indian Ocean was taken on March 15, 2022. In this image, the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Gombe (left) was over Mozambique after making landfall there almost a week prior, at the time this image was taken Gombe was getting ready to re-emerge over the Mozambique channel. On the right of the image, Tropical Cyclone Billy was nearing its peak, while it was still in the Australian basin's area of responsibility.
