Description
English: A graph showing the growth of the library collection at the Massachusetts Agricultural College (now the University of Massachusetts Amherst) from its initial creation, to the end of President Goodell's tenure. Goodell, as the first college librarian, was ultimately the academic library's founder. A full-time librarian was hired on to assist the president in 1899, explaining the sudden linearity of the graph from there on out.
