| Description |
English: Goose deterrent Streamers from poles are commonly used to deter the huge flocks of wintering geese from grazing on farmland. It does not appear to be working, but if there were a wind, the effect may be different.
Barnacle geese, Branta leucopsis with the characteristic yellow face. Soon after this was taken, they would have left for Greenland or Svalbard to breed, and the grass would then have a chance of growing. |
