| Description |
National and regional leaders for the Bureau of Land Management visited a timber sale demonstration in the Salem District of Oregon, July 11, 2014. During presentations from local BLM staffers, executives got an introduction to the Oregon and California Railroad Grant Lands, and also were schooled on updates to modern forestry equipment, like LIDAR (Light Detection and Radar). The day concluded with the timber thinning demonstration at Gordon Creek, which is a part of the Lower Sandy River Watershed, east of Portland.
